Welcome! This is a website that everyone can build together. It's easy!

The May 4th MovementThis is a featured page

"The May Fourth movement is a term used to describe the period of iconoclastic intellectual ferment that followed the 1919 protests in Beijing at the unfair terms of the Treaty of Versailles." - Jonathan Spence

The May Fourth movement sought an answer to the problems faced by Chinese society. It sought to replace the old ways of governing with something better. It sought to identify how life could be made easier. This is what we seek to do on this site.

This site is created and maintained by those who reject the modern western media and political models. Unashamedly cerebral, we do not dumb down or censor. We make no rules on what people can post on this site. We want to find answers to the big questions, and ultimately make the world a better place - even if only in this small corner of cyberspace.
